Project Description

The website offers a wide range of unique gifts that customer can engrave to make it a perfect gift for that special person. The client offers everything from personalized lighters and engraved hip flasks to one of kind glass tankards. Some of the ideal birthday presents available for any occasion include birthdays, Christmas and weddings etc.

When the client came to Deftsoft, he was not happy with the ROAS and wanted to improve it. This is where our expert team helped the client in increasing the sales flow.

The main objective of the client was to increase sales flow with a minimum ROAS of 3. The client wanted to revamp the e-commerce website and increase the numbers of conversions while reducing the ad spend. The client wanted to attract new clients interested in their service and overcome the loopholes in the advertising campaign.


Key Challenges Faced by The Client

  • Client was facing a challenge in targeting the interest based audience and creating a proper sales funnel to channelize the sales flow.
  • When we conducted audit of the Facebook Ads Account, we found out there were many loopholes in the advertising strategy.
  • There was no proper sales funnel.
  • Client was targeting cold audience in the interest based targeting.
  • There improper management of campaigns, resulting in high ad cost and less desired results.
  • There were few leads per month and cost per lead was also high.
  • There was a need to revamp the ad campaigns and increase leads while keeping cost low

Overall Strategy We Used to Overcome the Above Challenges

  • The client was already targeting interest based audience, so now we had to create a sales funnel to channelize the sales flow.
  • We created a sales funnel with 50 of budget at the top of the funnel. 25 % at the bottom of the funnel and rest 25 % for the bottom of funnel.
  • We created a plan to target audiences (interest based, visitors, add to cart & initial checkout) at different steps of the funnel.
  • Our team created a campaign for each audience category and used different targeting options for each one of them.
  • Organized the budget in such a way that the best performing audiences got more budget resulting in better interaction rate and conversion.
  • Identified the best performing interest based audience and created lookalike audience to grow the business.
  • Set up the post engagement campaign with the best performing ads to win audiences’ trust.
  • Our work resulted in ROAS of around 7 i.e. 2X times more than the client expectations.
